Biology and Distribution

Described from Australia (C. dimidiatus, B. cestosa, O. propinquus), New Zealand (O. breviceps, O. obscuricornis) and South Africa (N. oleariae, B. similis). Recorded from Japan (Masumoto & Okajima, 2021). Possibly originally from New Zealand (Mound & Walker, 1986: 33).
