Biology and Distribution

Described based on specimens in rolled leaf margins of Chavica densa (=Piper betle) (L. chavicae), from Piper nigrum (Gynaikothrips crassipes), from a leaf gall of Piper arcuatum (Liothrips aemulans) and in a leaf gall of Piper baccatum (Liothrips baccati), all from Java, Indonesia. Also in Malaysia, Timor Leste and Queensland, Australia (Mound et al. 2023)
