Hindsiothrips Stannard, 1958: 273. Type species Hindsiana pullata Hood 1925, by original designation.

Bolopothrips Titschack, 1957: 409. Type species Watsoniella bonessi Titschack, 1955, by monotypy. Synonym by Priesner, 1964.

Palearctic and Nearctic species.
