Desmothrips Hood, 1915: 57. Type species Orothrips australis Bagnall, by monotypy.

Archaeolothrips Bagnall, 1924: 627. Type species Archaeolothrips fontis Bagnall, by monotypy. Synonym in Bagnall & Kelly, 1928: 204.

Biology and Distribution

A genus of about 20 species known only from Australia.
