Stigmothrips Ananthakrishnan, 1964: 231. Type species Stigmothrips limpidus Ananthakrishnan, 1964, by original designation. Synonymised by Dang, Mound & Qiao, 2013: 2.

Baphikothrips Mound, 1970: 90. Type species Baphikothrips antennatus Mound, 1970, by original designation. Synonymised with Stigmothrips by Okajima, 1976: 119.

Biology and Distribution

Mainly Neotropical and Asian tropical, fungus feeding in leaf litter.
