ThripsWiki – 世界蓟马信息百科
此网站是Inkeri Lehtinen 和 Laurence Mound在澳洲堪培拉设计并完成的。信息主要来自澳大利亚CSIRO组织在2005年公开使用的昆虫目录网站，但是由于技术等原因，此网站已被废弃。“世界蓟马-名录”起源于保存在大英博物馆（英国伦敦）和森根堡自然博物馆（德国法兰克福）许多年的卡片目录手册。为了建立2005年昆虫目录网站体系，世界生物多样性信息机构（A Global Biodiversity Information Facility，GBIF）资助访问学者检查并核对保存在法兰克福、伦敦和华盛顿的蓟马标本信息。此网站可用信息的修订和完善是通过书籍资料和网站搜索完成的。此成果 — 蓟马维基百科得到了澳大利亚DAFF的资助。
其主要目的是提供昆虫纲缨翅目Thysanoptera近6000种蓟马的科学名称和分类系统的快速通道。
