Genus information
Chalepothrips Priesner, 1968: 191. Type species Chalepothrips ardisiae Priesner 1968, by monotypy. The only species ever placed in this genus was never formally described, but merely mentioned in a key. The genus is therefore unavailable, and remains a nomen nudum.
Biology and Distribution
One species only, from Java.
