Poecilothrips Uzel, 1895: 264. Type species Poecilothrips albopictus Uzel, 1895, by monotypy.

Cephalothripoides Bagnall, 1927: 582. Type species Cephalothrips harrisoni Bagnall 1926, by monotypy. Synonym by Mound, 1968.

Biology and Distribution

Genus probably polyphyletic.
