Plectrothrips Hood, 1908: 370. Type species Plectrothrips antennatus Hood, 1908, by monotypy.

Hammatothrips Priesner, 1932: 51. Type species Hammatothrips crassiceps Priesner, 1932, by monotypy. Synonym by Okajima, 1981.

Biology and Distribution

Pan tropical, fungus-feeding on dead branches.
