Nomenclatural details

Dicaiothrips bouvieri Vuillet, 1914: 276.

Elaphrothrips micidus Ananthakrishnan, 1973: 275. Synonymised by Palmer & Mound, 1978: 180.

Biology and Distribution

Described from Sri Lanka (D. greeni) and India (D. bouvieri). E. micidus also from Yelagiri, Tamil Nadu, India,from dry leaves.
