Neoheegeria Schmutz, 1909: 344. Type species Neoheegeria dalmatica Schmutz, 1909, by monotypy.

Haplothrips (Gigaplothrips) Priesner, 1949: 79. Type species Haplothrips giganteus Priesner, 1934, by monotypy. Synonymised by Minaei et al., 2007: 60.

Biology and Distribution

Southern European, associated with Lamiaceae flowers.
