Akarethrips Dang, Mound & Qiao, 2014: 17. Type species Akarethrips iotus Dang, Mound & Qiao, 2014, 2007 by monotypy. The type species appears to be unavailable under the Code of Zoological Nomenclature.

Biology and Distribution

Only one species from India is placed in this genus.
