Gomphiothrips mercedes Mound & Marullo, 1996: 276.
Biology and Distribution
Described from Cota, near Bogota, Colombia from Monochaetum sp.. Recorded from Costa Rica from seed heads of Monochaetum sp.. Occurs on dry fruits of Melastomaceae (Mound & Marullo, 1996).
