Haplothrips (Gigaplothrips) Priesner, 1949: 79. Type species Haplothrips giganteus Priesner, 1934, by monotypy. Synonymised by Minaei et al., 2007: 60.

Biology and Distribution

Associated with Lamiaceae flowers as well as various species of Astragalus. Iran and Southern European.
