Sophiothrips nigrus Ananthakrishnan, 1971: 197.

Biology and Distribution

Described from Kurseong, Darjeeling district, India. Recorded from Indonesia, Singapore, Thailand, Taiwan, West Malaysia and Japan. Occurs on dead branches in tropical and subtropical regions. Fungus-feeder (Okajima 2006).
